How savannas are created:

Plants :
Tall grass is everywhere and the trees are spaced out. Some grasses grow 6 to 9 feet high. The grasses survive the dry season and fires by growing quickly when there is rain. You can find most trees near lakes and rivers. There are special plants in the savanna.one of the main trees in the savanna is an Acia tree. The acacia tree can survive drought conditions because it has developed long tap roots that can reach deep. Open savannas, usually with scattered bushes or trees.
